Reexamination and Evaluation
Re-Examination and Evaluation Department directly carries out the examination and evaluation of objections to be made by persons who are parties to the proceedings and whose interests are affected due to the decision, within two months from the notification date of the decision, against the final decisions of the relevant department regarding the transactions related to industrial property rights and traditional product names. It is in charge of executing under the President of the Institution.
The Re-Examination and Evaluation Department is responsible for examining the objections against the decisions regarding trademark, patent, utility model, design, geographical indication and traditional product names and integrated circuit topographies, and the objections to publication in design, patent, geographical indication and traditional product names.
Board decisions are the final decision of the Institution and no objection can be made to the Institution against these decisions. Against the final decisions of the Board, a lawsuit can be filed in Ankara Intellectual and Industrial Rights Civil Court within two months from the notification of the decision.
